A component to preload and display image assets.

🎨 Figma: Images are available as a Component that can be accessed in the Assets Panel.

💻 Code: Images are available as a Web Component.

The Image component is more than just simply displaying an image asset. It takes care of lazy-loading the provided image asset, enhances the user experience while loading by displaying a preview, and smoothly transitions to the high-resolution image once done.
