Default Card

Default Cards are for content that doesn't have a specific card component in our design system and should only be used as a fallback.

🎨 Figma: The Default Card is available as a Component that can be accessed in the Assets Panel.

💻 Code: The Default Card is available as a Web Component.

We use Cards to create visual teasers that link to a specific content type. They are designed to be engaging and clickable hence using the right images and tone is fundamental. They appear in contexts like feeds or rails, offering users an onward journey into related or popular content. In contrast, a Card is never used in a standalone setting.
