Usage
A Typescale should:
- Be used for any text element in an interface.
- Provide an impactful contrast between sizes when applied to interfaces.
- Be applied in a way that the scale and its metrics remain unchanged.
- Use the same size, e.g. ‘small’, across all viewports when applicable.
- Establish a balanced and harmonious composition when applied to interfaces.
- Be reviewed when the font-family is changed from the Cosmos Font-stack because different font-families can be of different heights.
- Be measured from the bounding box of the text. No additional paddings are needed to be added.
💡 Scale ratio
The scale is based on the minor third (1.2) ratio.
